because, lightning
But I was SO close!
Kittens! Jumping. Kittens jumping and failing.
Majestic from birth...
...into adulthood.
Here is a personal favorite. This squirrel totally underestimated the distance and height of this building.
According to the video description, these assholes had trained this squirrel to jump on their command. They command it to jump. He jumps, but fails. Dicks.
Another personal favorite displaying the all natural grace of felines. Notice all the small nuances of this video. The cat pokes his head up from behind the hanging towels. Then he sneakily prowls his way to the ledge and prepares to launch. Once launched please take the time to notice his perfect little cat toes spread into oblivion in regret of his decision to jump. And from what the internet has claimed, he does not die. Everyone wins.
....and because humans are animals, too.

Masters of the English word
As a non-native speaker of English and former ESL student, I know how difficult it can be to learn the English language. But the copywriters who wrote the 10-words-and-less blurbs on the following products, news clippings and billboard are true masters of the English word. Some of the following may be NSFW.
1. If we could only get the priests some of this holy wood.
"Kid wood: Feel it! No Mess"
2. What kid wouldn't want to attend this summer camp? Best name ever.
"Camp Ramsbottom"
3. The title on Reddit was, "You'll save a lot more than $600". How appropriate for a Babies R Us ad.
"Pull out and save up to $600"
4. This is a problem.
"I have riff-raff in my hoo-hoo."
5. SPELLING is not of their concern. It's overrated anyway.
6. No amount of washing will ever make you clean again. This isn't so much a mastery of the English as much as mastering the art of an attention grabbing, perplexing product title.
7. In bold caps, all together now, "WOMAN BEATS OFF SHARK"
The End!

Dogs being awesome
There's a reason why we consider dogs man's best friend. They're loyal companions that also do stupid, funny, cute and awesome things.
It feels good to be a gangster. This dog is feeling it and bops his head to the beat of the song.
It also feels good to be a Bosspimp Terrier.
Corgis are undoubtedly cute. Corgis jumping into the lake while wearing a doggy life vest are even cuter.
"Lemme in, lemme in, lemme i-"
Man's best friend.... evolved.
I like dogs. Here's a dumb video to show it.

Reddit Chick of the Week: Mila Kunis
The Oscars were just last week and it was most obvious that Reddit took a liking to Oscar nominated actress, Jennifer Lawrence. But as we all know the internet moves quick.
Jennifer Lawrence is out.
And Mila Kunis is in.
And with the release of a new movie, Oz: The Great and Powerful, Mila Kunis has taken the Reddit spotlight as chick of the week. After noticing 2 posts about Mila Kunis had made it on to Reddit's front page last night, one of an interview with Kunis on her new movie in which she and interviewer, Scott Mills, hilariously discuss Lad bombs (a shot of Jagger into a double shot of Red Bull with vodka), football and her new movie. Great interview, she's hilarious.
Need further proof that Mila Kunis is awesome? In this interview Mila defends Justin against a reporter who is asking why he's chosen to switch from music to acting. The reporter presumptiously asks why does Justin want to be in movies, Mila responds defensively, "Well what would you rather him do?"
Also, thanks another Reddit user I learned this fun fact about Mila Kunis yesterday: As an immigrant from the Ukraine Mila once auditioned for the role of a Russian-Jewish girl who moves to America in the film, Molly, but failed to get the role.
It must be hard being Mila Kunis....
